The kids and I went to Denny's alone and they were so well-behaved it was amazing. And then when we got home Vader and I had a "pleasant" conversation that has resulted in us not speaking to each other. Happy Anniversary indeed.
Uh, that sucks.Well the kids being really well-behaved is great! But, the other part. That sucks. Anniversaries are rarely all that they are built up to be. We had ours a week or so ago and did nothing on the actual day. Then, we had a "babysitter" all lined up so we could go out to dinner on Sat. Our "babysitter," OK, my mom, "forgot" that she and my dad were going to a friend's house for dinner. I suggested that she call her friend (whose house she goes to for dinner all the time) and tell her that she "forgot" that she was babysitting. Nope! So, we ended up having take out. You know, after I cried. I'm sorry you guys aren't speaking to each other. That rots.
